had an issue regarding contract agreement, spoke to a lady called grace and was brilliant, helpful, professional and spoke to you like a human unlike others who just want to Palm you off she really done her best to solve any queries or issues I had in quick time.. pleasure to deal with!!

** AVOID **I helped my partner move out a property on Tramway Road, Banbury in April. We replaced all carpets (as pre-agreed with the Landlord) costing £500 and the property was left in the same condition as received. This being.. it had dirty walls and various imperfections. Prior leaving we had the flat cleaned professionally, except the fridge freezer which we accept. Did we everything they asked. Since then, Martin & Co have informed us that we are loosing £600 of our £750 deposit due to the property needing a 'repaint'. Does paint really cost £600? They also said that the flat had to be cleaned, and 6 lightbulbs had to be replaced. Expensive lightbulbs right?.... We have since spoken to the new tenant (lovely lady) who has told us that the property has NOT been painted, she cleaned the freezer herself, and that the lights were working fine when she moved in. Martin & Co have done nothing to it, but taken our £600! We would also like to state, that the infantry photos Martin & Co took of the property (after leaving) show the lights working? So are we missing something?? Since making contact with them, 'David' has been very rude to my partner and has caused him so much stress and unnecessary worry. We have email evidence of him stating clearly that the above work was done. We would also like to state, that prior leaving Martin & Co entered the property without giving any notice. We are very unhappy. Most certainly won't be using them again. If you think this is an exaggeration, it's not. I don't like to leave negative reviews, but this really has caused a massive headache.

Just rented a property with Martin & Co Banbury, the process was fast and efficient and made a lot easier because of Grace. She kept us well informed and helped us through every stage of the rental. Couldn't recommend her enough. Had a very poor experience with a different letting agent in Banbury and M & C and Grace are leagues above.
