Edd @ EweMove Dartford is unlike most estate agents I came across during my search. He explained things in a straightforward manner and kept us up to date with all that was going on, no guess work was required. Would recommend.

My three stars are for the 3 key people who hold Ewemove together - Robert, James & Clinton. Unfortunately my transaction wasn’t smooth and there was a breakdown in communication however once informed Clinton & James did step in to resolve the issues. As far as estate agents go Ewemove are pretty good.

Used to move in 2022. Initial experience was very positive but communication between us and seller during later stages was bad enough to cause arguments, had to resort to email-only correspondence to ensure everything Ewe Move said was in writing and not miscommunicated.

I was unsure on whether or not I wanted to leave a review on our experience with Ewemove Bexleyheath but after the experience we received when looking to buy our first property I think it will be useful for others if you do come across a property through them. I am completely surprised by all the 5* reviews and really do hope that they did receive an experience different to ours. Usually solicitors are the ones delaying the process and causing anxiety however the experience from day 1 was set on nothing but lies and they really did live up to the reputation set on estate agents. Our financial advisor tried to introduce himself a few times and was also surprised by how unprofessional our Property Manager Arran was. We found ourselves constantly chasing for updates and being ignored. Upon viewing the property we put forward our offer and never heard back from him even after following up. After not hearing back from him by the end of the week, I called the office and I have to say the people I spoke to were on the ball each time I spoke with them (hence the reason for the additional star). They told me he was busy with viewings and made sure that he follows up with me. I received a call back immediately from him to say he left me a voicemail that week which is a complete lie. My phone was on me the whole time and there would have been no reason to go to voicemail and even if it did I would know if I received a voicemail - that was the first of his lies. He then went on to say he was off for a few days which didn't match what the office were saying but I let it slide. He was trying to squeeze every last penny out of us and then we finally had our offer accepted and started the work with the solicitors. I then receive a call to ask if I would like to raise my offer because apparently someone put a higher offer. He told me he couldn't take the property off the site after our offer had been accepted but I believe his intentions were to entertain other offers. I could see past his constant lies so I decided to stick to my offer that had originally been accepted. We was given a deadline to come back to him with an offer and he did not bother to reply until more than 24 hours. I then see that the property has been taken off the site. Although gutted and going through severe stress and anxiety after this experience (put me off the whole buying experience completely) I am completely happy with my decision as he insinuated that even two days before completion we could lose the property which makes me think he had motivations to accept a higher offer. My advice to anyone reading this would be to communicate everything in writing as I am doubtful that the information was being passed on to the seller. I want to mention that the reviews left on here consistently praise the same few individuals so I hope we were one of the unlucky few and others have a better and much smoother experience.
