The marketing and finding a buyer was the easy part and the team at Russell's did a really good job. Then the problems started and the team, Vanessa in particular, began to earn their fee. The problems with our sale ranged from Covid restrictions to increased volumes of all searches etc. due to the Stamp Duty holiday to mortgage offers being withdrawn to an unresponsive and unorganised buyer's solicitor. The whole process took 22 weeks. Vanessa was with us all the way working, even on her days off, to get us moved. She was talking to the Managing Agent for our Apartment, to our buyer's Mortgage Broker, to our buyer's Solicitor to our buyer to our seller's solicitor to our seller's Estate Agent and to our seller. Towards the end these conversations were happening on a daily basis. Not only did Vanessa do all this but she also managed to keep our stress levels to as close to normal as possible.
