This year was probably the 10th anniversary of instructing Chestertons to rent my apartments. Over this period their team has expanded and their ability to engage with landlords has markedly improved. The team at Covent Garden is very professional and responsive to clients’ demands. I warmed to Carlos before I'd even seen the property that I'm soon to call home. He met me outside and we sat together by the kirb as Carlos explained the history of the building and area, including a few amusing anecdotes of tangential relevance; all the more demonstrated that this was a special moment not to be hurried. Carlos has remained generous with his time and knowledge ever since. He knows the market but, as importantly, he understands all those things we want to better understand without necessarily wanting to admit as much! And now the task is done, Carlos is still there with advice, support and encouragement,: crashing into and smashing to pieces many of my fondly-held prejudices against his profession!
