Conveyor belt treatment from one of the majors

We never met our main contact. Our three viewings were done with a weekend part-timer, and although there were umpteen calls with the sales director over many months (and to be fair, she was patient and straight with us in this drawn out purchase) we were surprised that such a sizeable transaction was done, ultimately, so impersonally. The estate agent who sold our house in this chain came round to see us on completion day with bubbly and flowers. There was absolutely nothing from Hamptons except some perfunctory handing over of keys - and no call or Email a few days later to find out how we were getting on.. You’d have thought that they might have tried a bit harder having just pocketed £12.5k of commission. Will strenuously avoid using them next time.
