I consider myself fortunate in having dealt with Moginie James as both buyer and seller. These guys know no bounds when it comes to excelling in customer service, out of hours - no problem, days off - no problem. Whatever it takes to make the process as smooth as possible is all they think about.. Friendly and approachable is clearly a company requirement. What impressed me most was when a minor mistake was made (and we're talking tiny!) hands were held high in accepting the error, for me that sort of honesty goes a long way.

Excellent Independent Estate Agents

I‘ve dealt with Moginie James as a buyer and a seller on several occasions and am currently in the process of selling a property through the Cyncoed branch. It’s always a pleasure to deal with such helpful, knowledgeable and professional staff. From my first contact with them several years ago, it was apparent that the sales team had received excellent training which instils confidence from the start and makes the whole process of buying and selling less stressful. Not only that, the branch is extremely well run and managed by Rhiannon Davies – there’s nothing she doesn’t know! They are an award winning independent chain of estate agents and it’s not hard to see why. I certainly give them a well-deserved 5 stars!

The agents quoted a high price for the property initially , while another agent quoted much nearer the price the house sold for eventually. I might have appreciated a more honest appraisal of our property , to start with. However I would recommend Moginie James to my friends , as the team was very professional.

Worst experience

I can only hope anybody who reads this review avoids this letting agency AT ALL COSTS! They add unnecessary fees and lied about the property when discussed on the phone. Moginie James add hidden fees here there and everywhere which other letting agencies do not. They're a bunch of cowboys. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I've heard many stories from other people about how poor and dishonest their service was, but my partner and I liked a property so thought we'd pursue it but these stories were true. They also have a habit of deleting negative reviews for fear of prospective buyers/letters seeing the truth. AVOID!
