Rented from Martin and co for three years and nothing but endless problems. Landlord let drug addicts live in the building and when we moved out we had to wait for 2 months before we got our deposit back and they took a £100 of our money for cleaning which was not really needed. Tenant for two years, often didn't reply to emails and took multiple phone calls to resolve any issue. Staff were polite however very inefficient. The return of the deposit also took more than a month after the tenancy ended. I would avoid Martin & Co in Exeter.

Slow return of my deposit , nearly 2 Months , i was being overcharge for cleaning 250 . I had visits from landlord without to let me know , so unprofessional . If you don't want to waste time , money and to became anxious , i will recommend you not yo use this company !

They won't give you your deposit back without a struggle. It dosent matter whether you leave your house spotless. They will give you a hard time with your deposit. They won't answer the phone sometimes and they will give you lies and fluff basically and not give you your deposit back in the allocated time they promised they would.

Outrageously rude and ineffective letting service from a landlord perspective. I don't understand what happened to warrant such an ill mannered response to my request for an update of their services. I have to vote with my feet based on today's interaction. If you have to deal with this company, deal with Maggie, she's lovely.

Very rude asked about a possible viewing and got told to stop looking because no agency would let to us. It went along the lines of this women saying ' no one should let to us' and that 'we shouldn't be allowed to live together'. I didn't know friends were not allowed to live together, nor did i realise that it was their business. Would give zero stairs but that wasn't a possibility.

Moved out property end of 2018 left the place spotless and now being told the place is to u tidy for people to move in and also me and my wife having to live in damp for 2 years and she had ambulance called for her health as well still no deposit back and they expect me and my wife to live in freezing cold in our new place Don't go with these people
