We used Tom from TLC Properties to sell our big, Edwardian townhouse in the centre of Harrogate because we liked him as a person, and because he was very knowledgeable about the market. The worse letting agent in

TLC Yorkshire Properties is without a doubt the worse letting agent we have been unfortunate enough to encounter. We rented through them a property, which they also managed and the experienced was so horrendous that it left us psychologically scarred to this day. The property had from the word go a plethora of major structural issues (water ingress, penetrating damp, windows badly fitted which flooded in rainy weather) but TLC and in particular its director Tom Lawrence treated us with contempt, disregard, failing systematically to address conveniently any of the issues, gaslighting us at every opportunity (Mr Lawrence attempted to blame the issues on us) and holding us ransom to the 12 month contract we had signed. We suffered psychological torture at his hands, had personal belongings damaged by damp and water, suffered health issues which arose from the damp in the property and were forced to live without hot water for 6 weeks. Only after we involved the local council in the matter were we begrudgingly allowed to surrender our tenancy and even then we had to “fight” Mr Lawrence for our deposit. TLC Yorkshire Properties is sadly an awful letting agent with no duty of care, empathy or professionalism.

Absolutely disgusting service. Causes endless stress, suffering and bullying. After stealing Ewewmoves clients, Tom Lawrence decided to set up this two bit company on his own and is an unprofessional, untrustworthy and unreliable liar. He is incapable of doing his job, is rude, sexist,, flustered and contacts you in unsocial hours. Avoid like the plague.
