This letting agency allowed me to live in a house with fire safety issues for four years. The house wasn't even cleaned when I rented it and had mold throughout I did the house up and cleaned it top to bottom when I left also fitted new carpet bath tap and got rid of all the mold and re sealed the entire house. Its now been over two months since my tenancy ended and they are not answering calls or emails about my deposit and are basically robbing me without even an explanation I would highly advise everyone to stay clear.

Awful and complete waste of our time .. feel bad for the people's houses they are selling as we are looking to by but were left hanging after a 45 min drive!

I found Martin and Co to be complacent, unprofessional and careless. This business cost me time and money. Lucky for them another buyer was found after wasting my time for months when stringing me along with a buyer that could never afford my house. Not to mention disclosure of personal information.

Lol where do I start as a tenent they try and squeeze every penny they can out of you and as a landlord they hold back money and work takes ages to get booked in and they take the money before it's even been completed god know what out tennent thinks! All in all I would never recommend Martin and co as a tennent or landlord. The best part of the reviews here is the review from Rowan Williams she is the branch manager... so it's a little biased if you ask me... even better is the branch response... to be fair there is likely more than one rowan Williams in the world so I may be wrong. If you don't mind paying for a poor service and cleaning when you move out when it's left in a better condition than when you moved in or as a landlord to have rent held back for no reason and work required to not be completed for weeks or even months then I highly recommend Martin and co especially the Hucknall branch although I have had dealings with both nottingham and Hucknall branch and they are both as bad as each other in different ways which is quite special. The problem with the likes of Martin and co is they get the custom due to advertising and people are like sheep and do as they are told which is a shame when you get a far superior service from family run businesses where they care about the service offered to tennents and landlords alike. If after reading this you decide to go with Martin and co i wish you the best of luck you will need it.
