I was buying a house through James Pendleton. We had great service from Oliver Greig who was at our side all the way through. We were pipped to the post at offer stage but when the initial offer fell through he was able to get us into the house very quickly to meet the owner so that we could re-establish our original offer. Throughout the process we felt well supported and even though he was acting on behalf of the vendor it was clear that he wanted the deal to go through and managed to smooth some of the issues that came up between the lawyers. Even after the exchange he was willing to spend time in the house with us as we measured up. Then on completion we decided to take up the JP offer of holding keys on our behalf. We dealt with a lot of agents during our long and stressful property search in Clapham and Wandsworth. But we certainly felt we could trust James Pendleton, that they were responsive, supportive and available. When we eventually come to sell we would certainly consider them.

After selling my house following divorce, I wanted to find a flat of similar quality. I viewed over 30 properties but I didn't like any of them. James Pendleton in general and Christian Macey in particular were excellent during the handover of my new property- constantly checking in on both myself and the property throughout the duration of the lockdown and not being able to come up to London to do so myself! Ed Whyte acted for our vendors recently. He was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, professional and generous with his time. He went above and beyond to ensure our chain exchanged, despite various wrinkles along the way, and it is fair to say that it would not have happened without him. We will certainly be using Ed if we decide to sell in the future, though we can't imagine wanting to do that anytime soon - Game of Homes isn't a whole lot of fun, especially during a pandemic - but we are now very excited for a completion soon! We retained Ed Whyte at James Pendleton to sell our house near Wandsworth Common. Moving house during a global pandemic was never going to be easy but Ed made the process as smooth as it possibly could be.
