Put an offer on a house, got accepted, sorted the mortgage out and the solicitors, had the searches done then they pulled out and with shocking customer service.

I only have experience of them as a prospective purchaser, not as a seller. As a purchaser they offer a pretty shocking level of customer service compared with other estate agents I have dealt with before now. They can rarely answer any questions you have and don’t even seem to see that as an issue. They never get back to you when they say they will and any communication you do have comes across as being complacent and indifferent. I wouldn’t choose to sell a house through them now I know how they treat prospective purchasers. Their attitude must have an impact on the amount of sales they make.

We looked at a property to buy, put in an offer. Either the vendor or Jim the estate agent lied and said there had been a family issue and someone needed to move into the property so the vendor hadn't considered our offer and he would get back to me with a update the next day. However no one has moved in and viewings are still happening, clearly trying to keep us on the hook while they wait for a bigger offer. No updates as promised and no need to lie
