A very positive experience with the sales team at Thomas Merrifield. Their expertise and personal touch makes it clear to me why they were able to sell my flat with ease and their knowledge and experience helped to no end with the manage the sales process.

We sold and brought through Thomas Merrifield and they were brilliant! Everyone we dealt with in the office were polite, informative and chasing the chain from start to finish and always returned my calls if they were unavailble. I would definatley use them again but not intending to move for a long long time! I have already recommended them to friends looking into moving.

I first dealt with Simon of Thomas Merrifield over 10 years ago when he sold my parents house. My wife and I had a further dealing with him in 2011 when we offered on a house that TM were selling. Although acting for the seller, he had a refreshingly honest approach to the sales process which speaks volumes. We were not the highest bidder so did not end up buying through TM. We later bought a house through another agent and lived in it before deciding to move at the end of 2016. It was an easy decision as to which estate agent we would use, having had such a good experience with them in the past - I didn’t even call another agent. Simon was efficient, honest and ultimately very successful in finding a good buyer for our house at arguably a difficult time of year (3 weeks before Christmas). It feels as if Simon lives and breathes property in the Abingdon area so he is very well placed to advise. I have no hesitation in recommending Simon and the Abingdon Thomas Merrifield team.

So lovely and helpful. It is early days in our tenancy but we are really happy to be staying in one of their managed properties - Lily, especially, has gone above and beyond. The previous tenant had covid anxiety and they were really understanding of this and it's left us feeling very safe and secure. They don't have many properties but if you're interested in one of theirs I really do recommend - the whole process between being interested in a property and actually moving in was completely pain free!
