I’d heard negative stories about them and read negative reviews, despite this is decided to use them as a letting agency. 5 tenants in 2 years always leaving complaining that they’d been treated poorly by Martin and co... when you try to get out of your contract they add fees and the owner is confrontational.
They’ve overcharged us for their letting service for several years, we’ve had enough and are using another letting me agency.

When I left I spent two days cleaning it but they charged me £150 for dirty carpets. I sent them photos I had taken on the day I moved in showing the same stains and worse but they never replied. They reply to negative posts here and say that they don't know who you are or to get in touch. They know what they are really doing and I would strongly advise you to rent a flat from a company that is truthful and competent.
Total silence from Martin & Co Stirling despite their properties being regularly posted on websites. I rang, emailed, made letting enquiries on web pages before, during and after lockdown and not a single reply from them. Pity cos they are the sole agents for a number of suitable properties. I skip their ads on property websites these days. No point trying to contact Martin & co anymore - a waste of time.
