Okay as far as estate agent go

This is the worst estate I ever dealt with. They took £200 I deposited to check the property. They refused to give me back my money. They are thieves.NegativeProfessionalism

When I called requesting to see properties the person asked me about notice on our current flat, of which I said was 2 months with a possibilty of moving sooner. I also relayed this information when looking at the properties to the Your Move representative. Today I went to see a flat and I just called to say we wanted to take it if the landlord was happy for us to move in 2 months. The person on the phone (same who showed us round) said "When you said about your notice period at the viewing I thought that's too late for the landlord as the property is available now and they want someone in there asap really". They wouldn't send our request to the landlord in case so I'm not sure why they didn't say this whilst we were at the viewing. I'm very disappointed that my time has been wasted and when the topic was brought up earlier nothing was said. I also don't appreciate that my request wasn't passed onto the landlord, even if likelihood is they would have denied it. My only positive is that booking and communication is advance was quick.NegativeProfessionalism

We had a couple of viewings with Nick. He knew before both viewings we had a 2 month notice on our current flat but when we got to each viewing (both on different days) he seemed to not know this. Both properties were available straight away so he just kind of brushed us off and seemed very uninterested in us. Both viewings we were double booked with other couples, not one after the other so very awkward and feels pressured into a sale. We have since found another property with a different letting agent who listened to us and found the perfect place which accommodates our 2 month notice period

Surbiton branch - Very bad experience Called the branch for the viewing for one of the property which came for sale. They said don't have viewing dates yet and will get back with the dates. Called after couple of days and the same information was given. Guess what after 2 days the property is marked as "Sold Subject to Contract". Don't know how these guys operate.

In the near two years I've rented through Your Move, I've had nothing but issues. Moving in is an issue, maintence is an issue, moving out is an issue. I've received rude emails, aborrent unprofessional behaviour from one staff member in particular when moving in- I refuse to ever rent through Your Move Surbiton again. Spare yourself a nauseating headache, and just go with another agency.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

Do not touch this lot with a barge pole! The Manager Lloyd is horribly unprofessional, George was late for all 3 viewings and as a company, they won't take responsibility for anything. I had a con artist of a Landlord and Your Move were no hope, the Surbiton branch left me with a broken front door that wouldn't close on a bank holiday weekend, no washing machine for 10 weeks, a broken window for my entire year there, and mold which attributed to me being hospitalised with pneumonia ("just wash it with bleach"). By the end I was so distraught and tired of dealing with their "property managers" (who you'll chase every day and get passed round in circles, waiting weeks for any action), I requested my Landlords details to take legal action. Your Move tried refusing to supply me with his details! Unlucky for them I work in Property Management myself and was well aware of my rights, so pushed back. Eventually I contacted their CEO directly, and still they were useless! Right up to the check out process, which I took a day off work for, just to sit in the rain and wait for their auditor for an hour before receiving a phone call that they had been earlier in the day so they could "get home earlier", Your Move were absolutely abysmal. Eventually they offered me compensation, and when I followed up they asked me what I wanted it for?! AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism
