We have just completed the sale of my 90 year old, In-Laws property and although they recognised that the move was necessary, they found it difficult to grasp the procedure, which meant we had to act remotely on their behalf. The property was leasehold with a complex management structure, who had an opportunistic attitude to sales, and this would have tried the patience of any estate agent.
