I started with this company as a tenant from October 2018, the process of getting the flat was fast and easy. After I moved into the the property it has been a night mare with the customer service from this agency. I had an electrical problem and had no heating in winter to the property, the customer agent told me and my family of 3 with a 6 yr old daughter that we wouldn’t die without heating! I still gave another chance even referred this agency to people. During the present corona pandemic I work for the nhs with these patients so each time I come in from work I use my guest bathroom to reduce any risk of exposure to my family, I noticed the bathroom has a leak I called the office as I’m no plumber and was mainly focusing on the risk of exposure and what if it goes to the flat underneath and damage there as well. I offered to pay a plumber as I can understand it’s a lockdown and asked if I would be reimbursed. The customer agent called me crazy inconsiderate lady and went on shouting at me saying people are dying! I explained that wasn’t the way to speak to me and he continued his disrespect. As a front liner I’m crazy for trying to minimise exposure to my family trying to think of my neighbours. Be very careful with this company. As soon as the country is out of lock down I will be leaving. Customer care is the worst!!!!!!!

I would not recommend Ellis & Co Wembley. When I put my property on the market, Cristina Siladi, the Sales Manager, had mis represented the property on the marketing by adding false details which I made clear was not true, but she said it will help attract buyers. This was then found out by the buyer in the later stages who pulled out of the transaction. I had given notice to the tenants and this caused me a lot of stress and costed me thousands of pounds and I had to file in a complaint to the Property Ombudsman. I would question a lot these claims made below, but in their defence they did assist to find new tenants after which I gladly declined due to the misconduct of Cristina Siladi.

Very very unprofessional, akshat kept telling me he will call me to update me but i kept chasing them for updates and refund. Spoke to a few menevers of staff and all give different info. Very unprofessional team they take your money with no update. Would definitely not recommend to anyone

Formal Complaint Regarding Unprofessional and Disrespectful Behavior by Staff Dear [Property Office Manager/Company Name], I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the unacceptable behavior exhibited by one of your staff members during a recent visit to your office. On [date of the incident 04/09/2024], I and my father visited your office to address a matter, and instead of receiving the professional assistance one would expect, he was subjected to rude and disrespectful treatment. The staff member in question raised their voice and shouted at my father and me in front of other customers, causing unnecessary embarrassment and distress. Such behavior is completely inappropriate, especially in a professional setting where clients should be treated with courtesy and respect. This incident is particularly concerning, given the number of people who witnessed the confrontation. It not only reflects poorly on your office but also on the level of service provided to clients. I expect a prompt investigation into this matter and appropriate action taken against the individual involved. Please acknowledge this complaint and inform me of the steps you intend to take to address this situation. Thank you for your immediate attention to this serious issue.

I living in a Ellis & Co property in Harlesden and is a disaster and they doesn't care about the complaints of the tenants. The house is with a infestation of bed bugs and nobody cares about it and the property is full of people who doesn't pay rent because the front door is unsafe and everybody can get inside of the property in a very easy way. Ellis & Co are only interested in the money and they doesn't care about the tenants who pay the rent. Scammers.

Tried to book a viewing several times even though I’m a serious buyer they didn’t call back or anything just started emailing me random properties instead

Never picks up the phone or responds to emails

Very unprofessional agency especially a lady called Simina in Wembley! As long as they are demanding your deposit and monthly rent they reply to all the emails and calls but once you have move out of your flat/house and you don't serve any interest to them then you will have to be chasing them for month to get your deposit back and even then they keep coming up with deductions from your deposit which they can't prove and can't give invoices to see what they had to replace in the apartment from your deposit! Which means they didn't replace anything they are just trying to take your money for no reason since they can no longer charge you for agency fee so they have to get that money back somehow.
