We had an appointment to view a property. Nobody turned up to show us around and when I rang the office to see if anybody was coming, they told me they had put an application in to the landlord already so we can't view it. When I asked why didn't they couldn't have informed us of this, she said sorry! Poor service and infuriating for home searchers.

Really disgusting behaviour by members of staff. Dishonest and deceitful. Dealing with dishonest estate agents who lack ethics because they put money first can make the experience of buying a house painful. These bunch have no morals.

My experience with Martin and Co was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. After viewing a property with them in Warrington, I expressed keen interest and made several follow-up calls over the course of three days, clearly stating my intention to proceed with the rental. Each time, I was met with the same response: "waiting for landlord decision." Despite my persistence and eagerness to secure the property, I was left in the dark, only to discover via Rightmove that the property had been taken by someone else. Not only did Martim and Co fail to update me on the status of my application, but they also failed to prioritize my interest or even provide basic communication regarding the outcome. This lack of transparency, communication, and professionalism is unacceptable. As a prospective tenant, I expected better treatment and respect from Martin and Co. My experience with them has been nothing short of a waste of time and a complete disregard for customer service. I would strongly advise against using their services to anyone looking for a reliable and considerate estate agent.

Tried to make an appointment to sell my house via internet. No one called checked my emails and had sent a message saying they had tried to call. So rang back twice and got fobbed off. Obviously a very busy company who don't want any more customers. Don't think I'll be ringing them back again

No respect, not helpful. Disgraceful

Avoid. They don't assess their potential tenants properly and will let just about anyone move in as long as they can pay I presume. Awful. No consideration for the individuals already living next to or near to the properties.

I was a tenant for 2 and a half years with Martin and Co ( Widnes Branch). I have found the staff at this branch particularly Amanda quite unprofessional, abrupt in their approach, borderline discriminatory and very unempathetic. I also do not think that they act in the best interest of the landlord when they do not like a certain tenant. I would therefore not recommend their services as a tenant and certainly not as a landlord.

Good to start then got worse and worse no idea what they're doing at all, and a rip off !!!

Biggest load of rip off merchants. Lots of hidden fees, and untrained workers who give incorrect advice then don't accept High fees considering little support
