Our Winslow home had been listed for some months with another estate agent, with very little outcome. We decided to switch to Wilkinsons and things then moved quite quickly. The sales process was completed painlessly and without any major problems. We would definitely use Wilkinsons again.
Our house sale and purchase took longer than we had anticipated, however both Joe and Max did their best to reassure us and eventually 6 months later we finally moved into our forever home. We dealt mainly with Max in the Winslow office. What a great asset to Wilkinsons he is! Each time I had a question, called him or emailed him he was quick to respond and always followed up anything we needed to know. As anyone knows, moving is a very stressful event but Max somehow managed to calm us and keep us focused. It was a pleasure to deal with him, also Joe was always very helpful so all in all they are a great team! Thank you, we really do love our bungalow.
Very efficient and informative. From the buyers point of view they gave outstanding service. Buying a property during Lockdown and the Covid restrictions has been a challenge and without the support and professionalism of Grant Crow at the Wilkinson Partnership I doubt that we would have managed to reach completion and subsequent exchange. Grant acted as a very efficient "postal exchange " enabling the relaying of questions and answers between ourselves and the vendors. Good job Grant. Thank you.
Wilkinson’s is a story of two halves. The first half, namely Susan & Catherine are very pleasant and helpful and were supportive throughout a difficult house purchase. However a lot of this was spoilt by the complete lack of customer care and attention by their colleague Andy. Twice we visited their agency and on both occasions it felt like we were intruding. On today’s occasion it was to pick up the keys for our new home. Not only was there absolutely no welcome, there was also no care and consideration that this should have been a special and exciting moment for us. Andy did not know the keys were ready for release. This I could forgive if he had offered us a seat, maybe a coffee and warm welcome and assurance that he would resolve it. But no. We got ignored, we got to hear him being very rude and leaving a rude and abrupt message for Catherine. Once he’d decided he would release the keys we got stomping about the office whilst he searched for them, only to find they were already on his desk. I’ve had better experiences buying a coffee! I left this review on their Facebook page with 3 stars, thinking that someone might have been in touch, but we’ve heard nothing until today when they emailed to ask if we would leave a review. Because of this I’ve downgraded to 2 stars. If we ever come to sell I wouldn’t use this agency.
Having recently purchased a property via Wilkinsons, I can't recommend their services unfortunately. From the start we experienced unprofessional service and unnecessary pressure - our formal offer wasn't shared with the sellers meaning our inclusions weren't agreed to, there was no comms on our agent being out of office meaning emails and calls were ignored, and we received last minute threats to remarket the property on the day of exchange! Overall, Wilkinson made the process a lot more stressful than it needed to be. Steer clear if you can help it!NegativeProfessionalism
