Sorry to say communication was terrible no conformation email appointment cancelled without notice I had to call the office completely wasted my time booked over a week ago
I want to tell you about my experience (Ukrainian refugee) tried to rent a house, was ready to pay for 6 months in advance plus a deposit! I received a request for a bunch of documents, but could not provide a contract to work in the UK as I am a Ukrainian refugee (I am a Ship captain by profession and work around the world). I paid a one-week deposit of 270 pounds and was rejected by the company because I had to work in England (although many Englishmen also work abroad). The company rejected me in the end. It was not my decision and I did not get the 270 pound deposit back. So be very careful when you want to conclude something, you will lose your money, it is very disappointing that even in Ukraine they would not do that, but they will do that in England and with Ukrainian refugees I was very surprised!

When you have mortgage bank send peoples to check the House. Then will tell or you will get Mortgage or not, to this moment you don’t need solicitors or something else. They just take a money and the ups sorry for this house you can’t get mortgage.

Rude and dismissive staff, I dealt with Naomi who shown me the property and was ignored for 10 minutes as another viewing was still in progress. I have viewed many properties over the last few months and never experienced this treatment anywhere else. Incompetent service, not able to get through to anyone on the phone without being redirected to the call centre and emails unanswered. I second the review which questions the integrity of this company. I also wonder if everything is above board with this company and if anyone can recommend a governing body for estate agents as something definitely isn’t right here.
Valued far less by one of the valuers dave Highham saying structural fault with property which there was not. Probably getting back handers from developers to under value etc etc .. Yes the house needed internal work but they massively undervalued it
I am not one to ever write a bad review but in this case I felt that something really suspicious was happening with this company and their client. I am not entirely sure what was happening but from speaking to the neighbours of the seller he was quite ill which make me wonder if he was taken advantage of and misrepresented by these estate agents. First of all the house shown in the image was really undervalued, then within a day of being put on the market no more viewings were allowed to be booked. Then staff member Stacey explained I could not make an offer without a viewing (which is illegal as they must tell the seller/vender of all offers). I then went to make a offer in person to the estate agents office in woolton, Liverpool. After offering close to £30,000 above the asking price, to then be rejected makes me wonder if everything is above board with this company. If anyone can recommend a governing body for estate agents that would be great as really think something isn’t right here.
Do not rent or buy a property through Whitegates.I rented a property from them and when I moved in the house was dirty and there were even dead flys on the window sill.When I complained I was told that we did not request the property to be cleaned before moving in! Furthermore we were left without hot water for 4 weeks,as the boiler broke down.The boiler had previosly broken down and the engineer suggested the parts to fix the problem but Whitegates refused to pay for the parts and just got the enginner to clean the boiler instead. When the boiler broke down for a second time I made Whitegates aware there was no hot water and I was told that the landlord did not have the money to carry out repairs! as the boiler powered the shower not only did I not have any heating I could not get washed in hotwater for nearly a month. Also we were left without a valid gas safe certificate for over 5 weeks.When I asked why the gas safe was allowed to expire I was told by the branch manager that there was a grace period allowed in the legislation,which was false.When I advised there was no grace period I was told more false information and then was later advised by the branch manager that they were not aware of the legislation ,so why tell me previously there was a grace period if they did not know what the legislation was! when pulled up on key points the branch manager would not answer certain points or completley refuse to answer questions. I would not use Whitegates again as I feel I was purposley told false information or I was told false information because they had not kept up to date with current legislation,either way I would have no confidence in them that they know what they are doing. I fear that Whitegates are only concerned in taking your money and they don't care about customer service or putting the customers interests at heart. I have given one star as there was 1 member of staff that was helpful but definetley not the branch manager who lacked any compassion in my opinion and was unwilling to sort any issues out.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
Absolutely shocking lack of communication from Whitegates Woolton. Countless times I have contacted the office to arrange viewings or to discuss properties I am wanting to proceed with to be told all agents are busy and they will arrange for someone to call me back. Only for me to not receive a call for days and having to chase it up myself, again being told all agents are busy and that I can expect a call back. If my property was on the market with these and knew that people were calling up and being ignored I would be withdrawing it from sale and going elsewhere. Terrible. Shame zero stars isn't an option.
I tried several times to call this office, I am told every time that all agents are on the phone, I leave a message but no response back. I am attempting to sell the property of a deceased relative. It is frustrating to be told this office cannot get through to my cell phone number in the US. This office are the only people who are not able to connect to that number. I have clients and family from the UK using that very same number to reach me almost every day. Emails to this office go unanswered for days. I called a different Whitegates office today and my experience with them was the complete opposite, outstanding service, professional and helpful. Whitegates Woolton/Allerton you need to look at your service level and try harder to meet client needs. You do a disservice to the Whitegates brand when you are so cavalier with new inquiries. Based on my experience over the phone (3-4 calls) and 3-4 totally unhelpful emails over a 10-day period I would not want your office trusted with the sale of any property.
