Jonathon (York) was excellent at selling my house which at the time was tenanted. He advised putting up for sale (the day the tenants moved out, with bookings for viewings starting 2 days later (when I’d cleaned it)! He had two days of viewings and I excepted an offer. Im not giving them 5 stars as I don’t think they have an after sales/progression team anymore. So you need to chase to keep informed of progression.

We were very pleased with EweMove's team of Nick and Samantha. Sam took great photos of our house and personally showed people around. She always gave us prompt feedback after viewings. We felt we had a caring a diligent team behind us at all times. Thanks so much.

If I could give the team here less than 1 star I would. They seem friendly when you live in their property but as soon as you move out, they pick at every little thing possible and try to keep as much as possible. We had no issue with Elly but Karen made this very difficult, upset my wife and were't happy with the cleaning (even though we paid cleaners to go in and clean). Complaining about the washing machine drawer not being clean! Really?!?! Get a grip! Do not trust these people. All they want is money and if god forbid you move out and they don't have a new tennant already lined up, they will keep your money.

We try to make the moving out process of a rental property as smooth as possible and have fair processes in place to help our tenants through this process. Included within this is our move out checklist which contains helpful information on what to expect during your move out, the areas we'll be looking at when it comes to the move out inventory and also some common areas tenants often forget. One of these areas detailed is the washing machine drawer. I'm not sure what more we could have done to direct your attention to this. The last thing we want is for money to be unnecessarily deducted from the deposit when our tenants have full control over how they return the property back to the landlord/agency. Karen is always happy to help and has remained calm and professional throughout. She, and we as a team have gone great lengths in order to assist in attempts to help minimize any deductions on your behalf and to encourage the landlord to look at your deductions as fairly as possible, which she has done. As you are already aware, there is no financial gain in any way to us and a lot of time and effort has been put into try and help reach a resolution with you. I been discarded and delay several times. When finally managed to get an appointment. The Agent, Sean, didn't even anounce the booking had been called or even bother to pic up the phone. The office put me on hold and didn't even return my calls. Aparently it doesn't matter if you can afford or not the place. Only if your accent if is British enough makes all the difference.

In this instance I acted fairly to both parties and although I’m sure you’ll be disappointed that another offer came in so soon after yours however I gave you the full opportunity to be involved in the negotiations and reach the financial level required but you were unable to do so. My wife and I visited a property in Rawcliffe, York on 02/03/2024. Our appointment was for 10.45am. Due to traffic we ran a bit late and informed the sales agent, Chloe. When we reached the property, the first thing Chloe told us at the entrance, with the door open was that we had only "5mins" to view. She also said "it will be an in and out thing". She spoke to us in an OFFENSIVELY IMPOLITE MANNER AND WAS BLATANTLY RUDE. She LITERALLY RUSHED our viewing in 5mins. She treated us like she was DOING US A FAVOR. This property is on sale for £450,000 and yet she showed it us like a POUNDLAND SHOP. Chloe is shamelessly damaging the reputation of Ewe Move and doing a disservice to the owners of this property. While leaving, she must have had a rethink and invited us for a second viewing. We are definitely declining this second invitation. Chloe has DEPLORABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND ZERO COMMUNICATION SKILLS. BEWARE AND AWARE OF EWE MOVE, YORK! AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE!

Hi there, I’ve tried reaching you following your viewing and writing the review but have been unable to discuss this with you. Having spoken with Chloe following your appointment firstly she’s surprised to hear your thoughts as she left the appointment under the impression you understand the reasons for a speedy viewing and that things were left on a positive note. Your lateness really did leave very little time to show you the property without causing my colleague to subsequently run late for her appointments that followed. There a countless positive reviews here for Chloe with this being the single less than perfect review. Chloe is a fantastic asset to our business

I would stay away. After viewing a place and waiting for 10 days to get a response from the landlord, I was told the landlord finally accepted and it was time to pay the deposit and secure the property. which I did and after canceling all my other applications for different properties, after two days I received a call that the landlord wanted to go with a different person because he paid more. I don't understand how the landlord got the offer while I paid a deposit to secure the property as they told me. I think they don't honor their customers or care about wasting your time. I find it weird that all the reviews are positive I would ask Google to check and verify those reviews. Overall horrible experience.

Dissapointed at my experience because of the many positive reviews about EweMove available. I tried to get into contact about a rental property they had available multiple times through the week. Got in contact with their main office for a viewing, where I was told Claire would call me back as Johnathan who was managing the property was on leave. I never ended up getting the call back, so when I called the York branch directly (also note it's quite unclear which phone number is for what) Claire picked up and told me I would have to wait until Monday, as she is only covering for emergencies. I wait until Monday and call again (ended up at the main calls centre again) and they told me they would notify Johnathan I had called. Then the website updates to now say the property has been let. I have still not been contacted a single time by any of the staff throughout the period. It would have been nice to have at least been told there was never actually any possibility (or at least minimal) of the property being available to me instead of just wasting my time. Tldr: impossible to get in contact with, no communication between staff/branches, staff let you waste time instead of just notifying they have found a tenant already ThanksNegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Would not reccomend at all as made monumental cock ups on the sale of my flat during the 7 months it was with them.changed agents in 3 months done & dusted.
