Mortgage Advice Bureau was recommended to us by a co-worker who had use their services through Ryder and Dutton Estate Agents in Huddersfield and Andrew Pearson was assign to us as our adviser. Andrew was very helpful from the get go, very informative and not patronising at all, which was really reassuring as I was a first-time buyer. I did a bit of research before had regarding the right to buy scheme but had no idea of the process of getting a mortgage. He guided us through everything we would need and in just a few weeks after handing in all our documents, he got us a mortgage in principle. Once our mortgage was applied for, Andrew kept us in the loop with regular communication through email. He also went out of his way to get us a quote for life insurance and also building and content insurance which alleviated some of the pressure of us. Once we got to the stage where our mortgage was going through our Solicitor and the seller’s solicitors, we received regularly updates from Katy Backhouse (Mortgage Support Team) Keeping us in the loop and making sure the rest of the purchase process goes through smoothly.
