Very rude on the phone. Tried to book a viewing. The employee did not want to hear me speak for a minute. She kept repeating that I should send an email like a robot even before I asked a single question. When she finally let me ask my simple question about the property I wanted to see, she referred me to the pictures of the property. Thankfully, I have eyes and I can see that the pictures do not provide any answer either and this is why I called in the first place. If that is the treatment before even starting any process with them, I will let you imagine how bad it might be if you decide to rent a property managed by them.
Very unprofessional Chloe Webber the so called letting manager shouldn’t be a manager she was so unprofessional and rude calling me a liar about an email that was sent from her so much so I had to email it back to her to show her when she just couldn’t own up to her mistake and apologise I would never use again and recommend to stay clear
Worst lettings we've ever dealt with , very rude on the phone , could never sort things out with them. They told the landlady that we missed rent one month when we had proof of paying it, alot of things not done by the book, I could go on and on but I'd be here a while! extremely unprofessional, I would not recommend this business to anyone!
Multiple emails and calls looking to buy, never got a response
I'd give a 0 if I could I moved into a property in 2020, I reported an order and the uncleanness of the property on the day I moved in. They sent in cleaners the next day, the odor of stayed through from 2020, now they want to accuse me of having pets with no evidence to it trying to blame the odor that was there before I moved in. Not only this, they want me to pay for new carpets which were worn out when I moved in. They have taken over 10 days which is outside the sla to tell me what the issue is. They also think that place needs a full clean when it was cleaned the day moved professionally. I moved out the 30th, they toom photos the 2nd of the month after then only delivered it the 11th day of the month. Due to the time line I would imagine their trying to defraud me out of my deposit with no evidence to some of the deductions, I'll accept the light bulb in the hallway, will not pay for their carpets or full clean when it was cleaned and eorn carpets when I moved in. How disgraceful
Poor experience trying to view a property with these estate agents. They either don’t contact you back after they’ve cancelled to rearrange a new viewing or don’t contact you at all. Every other estate agent contact you as soon as they can and if you can’t make a date they re-arrange one you can . I was cancelled a viewing and offered a new date. I replied saying I couldnt do that date was there any other dates available - no response. They clearly don’t want to sell your property. Response times are tragic and you’re the ones chasing a reply.
Most unhelpful estate agents. Pity anyone selling with them. No attempt to schedule a viewing. Very poor.
LANDLORDS AVOID AT ALL COST My experience with this company has been disgraceful. These agents do not seem to understand simple lettings processes such as protecting deposits. If you have a tenancy with Martin and Co I would check your deposits has been protected lawfully! Shocking as landlords pay alot of money for this service and it is not being delivered to them impacting on them finically within tenancies. If you want a proper management service i would look else where!!!!
Selfish, Uncaring, Disgraceful service. I told the estate agent, Astrid, that before I undertook my 5 hour journey from Kent to Cardiff, paid for hotel and take 2 days off work that: “My daughter is ill so going away is a problem, so I can only do so if it’s essential.” When I was outside the property, she rang to say that the tenant had gone away and that she could not show me the flat. Either extremely naive or I think just appalling. She should have known that the tenant had nothing to gain from the viewing and made extra special efforts to ensure that my viewing would go ahead. To add salt into an already open and bleeding wound, Astrid started talking about how it inconvenienced her also. Incomparable as her journey from the office to the property was only 7 minutes. And all on her time as an employee not her personal time nor expense. She refused to meet me at the property rather than just discuss this with me stuck on the street over the phone. Not unreasonably, I used an expletive and put the phone down.
With two kids in the house, we waited 3 weeks without a washing machine. No replies and the person to help always unable to take my call. After 3 weeks, I found my landlord on Facebook and asked them if he had made a decision on the washing machine. He had never heard about the problem. He was very sorry and arranged for a new washing machine to be sent by AO which arrived 2 days after. If you have these problems, do not expect this agency to help. Go to your landlord.
