Very expensive for tenants who rent with this agent. They have silly name's for all different charges to bump up the price, such as, moving in fee = £25, moving out fee = £25 payable at the start of the tenancy with the moving in fee! Admin charges = £50! What type of admin are they doing that costs £50?? On top of tenant checks fee = £150 for the main applicant and £100 each for every other occupant. This is on top of the normal costs and fees you pay with an agent! I’m very sorry to Martin & Co Chesterfield branch for posting this review about them. It was Martin & Co Sheffield branch who I was reviewing and from whom I rented my property. The agents from the Sheffield branch even had the cheek and audacity to let themselves in my house twice. One of the times that this happened I was asleep in bed and woke up to a man I’d never met walking through my house then I heard him running up my stairs and I absolutely crapped myself! I thought he had broken in and didn’t know what to expect from him when he came across me on my own! Really did the opposite of making me feel safe in my home!

Too much hard work to get things done. Been waiting 3 months and still no repairs. Make sure to check inventory as mine was severely lacking in accuracy
