It was a fair process despite what you thought and we did explain the ‘best and final’ offer process when you viewed. It is against the law to discuss other bids as we explained and the other party offered earlier than you and was in a more advanced position so the executor decided to go with them. Unfortunately someone was always going to lose out. Mr Watts explained he wasn’t aware of all offers on the viewing but was going to check when he got back as you were the last viewers. We believe we were professional throughout and were never rude even though you were upset on the final phone call.
