I've sent multiple enquiries via Rightmove and called many agents only to find out some landlords don't let to students or viewings were fully booked. After many setbacks, I was worried that I wouldn't hear back from an agent at Martin & Co after I sent an enquiry. However, Bryn called me a week after I sent the enquiry to arrange a viewing. He and the landlord were very accommodating to the fact that I was a full-time student and that I didn't have an income. The referencing process via Homelet was slightly challenging as my address history failed to save. However, Corinne resolved this issue by contacting HomeLet. I'm very happy with my new apartment! Thank you Bryn, Corinne and the team at Martin & Co for making the renting process less daunting for a first time renter!

LANDLORD RECOMMENDATION: (but also kind and fair tenants too) Jo Cable (new Property Manager at Martin & Co) is the reason to now use M&C. Jo has been managing my property for 15 years at different agents and I always move when she does. I have had the outhouse re-built, kitchen and bathrooms refitted, roof re-done and government electric regulations met - all without having to do anything for one low management fee. Landlords need/want to make money and Jo understands all the sides of doing this well. She walks the balance (on my behalf) between tenant & owner making sure in recent tough times things remain fair and manageable.
