The legal aspects of the sale became unusually complicated, but Treon did an exceptional job and helped to keep everything on track, leading eventually to a satisfactory completion. He liaised between the buyers and me and followed up matters with the solicitors, and always managed to be positive and good humoured even when things seemed to be going wrong. Importantly, he telephoned frequently with updates so that no-one was left in doubt for long about what stage the transaction had reached. All in all, my association with Martyn Gerrard over many years has been a very positive one.
