Paul seems to be a fair and unfazed landlord however, I was disgusted to see that he totally supported the wedding shop that closed without notice, the tenant had fraudulently signed guarantor paperwork herself, claiming to be her friend to obtain the shop… so long as Paul still got his money he wouldn’t report her to the police. I am absolutely appalled by this as he himself, should be an upstanding citizen of the law. Clearly NOT, even when televised!! Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords, season 6, episode 6

Thanks for your comments DT. But just let me clarify some of your misunderstandings. My job is a Letting Agent and I was not the landlord. Part of my role is to recover monies owed-to our clients. If you were the landlord that’s what you would want me to do. You actually don’t know if the police were involved or not. That said, the tenant did agree to pay the debt . But just note on reporting things to the police. It makes no difference what we report to the police they do absolutely nothing. Even when gun threats are made against us they do nothing. My client was happy with the outcome so I think we did well in a difficult situation. But thanks for watching!
