Myself and my partner moved into a cottage which we rented for a year. Never bad tenants. Reports of a leaking shower through the roof and other issues were reported and were not fixed. I am 8 months pregnant and we had paid for half of the rent for the final month of June. A female estate agent shouted rudely at us to clean the property long before the end of the tenancy agreement and has not even communicated a date to return the keys until we asked . And then suddenly demands them back because the landlord wants to carry out repairs after we leave so the selfish man can rent the property out again. Which he should have completed when we were in the property. The landlord broke the contract on multiple occasions such as turning up at the property without giving notice and also with his son. He did not know how to communicate. They also could not wait one weekend for us to move out of the property and to organise a clean up . She then threatened to take it out of my bond /deposit. Rude people with an awful attitude on the phone. I will be reporting to the council and never use them again. I will keep photographic evidence of the repair work that was not completed If they try to threaten us further .
Don’t bother. Booked an appointment for a valuation, didn’t turn up and then awful attitude on the phone.
The most horrible persons in dewsbury they should be jailed for life especially the manager lady and IMRAN with he’s 4 eyes
Absolutely no response to phone calls, emails or online chats for the best part of a week now. Frustrating!
on 25th of June, I had an appointment confirmed by this agent for viewing. They are aware that I am medical professional and I run clinics 5-6 days per week. I was on site at 13pm as advised and no landlord while the signs were removed (To let/ To Sale). For this appointment, I have spent one day at hotel and I have missed an Invisalign conference with an approximate cost of £1600. They did not bother to cancel the appointment or to keep me posted. One of my worst experience.
Rubbish sellers. Save deals for contacts, if they can't sell for you outside of whitegates, they don't even end up listing your property. Some staff need sacking, especially Ahmed. They wasted my time for months. Surely whitegates as a company can't be happy missing out on commissions like this. Get it sorted out and do an internal investigation ASAP.
If they got something good in reasonable price to sell they never sell outside person .just keeps wasting time of all buyers in reality they sold somebody they knows before putting on market
What a total disgrace of a lettings agency!! To allow a woman to live in these conditions is disgusting, after numerous phone calls and complaints about repairs you did nothing. She then held rent to prompt actions from yourself and the landlord, you advised her to pay so she did and was then served with a section 21.
Called whitegates last week regarding a property to purchase, My details have been taken twice and it has been 5 WORKING DAYS and no response from these guys at all. AIP in place but just no interest from their side to contact or apologise.Called again and got through to the overflow line where I am being told she does not know why I have not been contacted.She just kept repeating, You have come to the overflow line which does not help or give any insight into what kind of estate agents Whitegates is,Unprofessional it seems to me.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism
