Underwhelming service

Northwood let my mother's house under its guaranteed rent scheme for 4 years. The first issue was the huge discount to the rent they offered compared with the market price less their estate agency fee for a property that was easily let. The second was the lack of proper inspection resulting in an overgrown garden, fittings removed by tenants over time and not replaced/repaired. Poor quality repairs by Northwood's workmen, including fitting two unmatched worktops in the kitchen, failure to fit a replacement toilet that fitted against the wall, random boxing in of same to hide pipework and brackets, allowing more tenants to live in the property than were on the agreement, and returning the house in a dirty state with unkempt garden and broken fencing. Getting hold of the right person to discuss concerns with was a nightmare. Never again!
