Where too begin with Lovelle, as me and my partner are first time renters we thought we’d give lovelle a try the reviews weren’t great, but we thought we check it out for ourselves. There have been countless problems with the flat. I’ve been promised countless and I mean countless calls back, can safely say I’ve had maybe 2 or 3 calls back from lovelle from March up until the time of writing this review. The calls I’ve had with the company director Sam felt like I was being belittled and not taken seriously. I had too ring up too actually find out we’d got the property we had applied for. Due too all of these circumstances I’ve been under a great deal of stress. It is a shame, it’s actually a real shame we really thought we’d have a really pleasant first time renting experience. But sadly lovelle ruined my expectations on this regard. It’s a shame money is more important than the well-being of tenants. Hello Leo, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, I note that your partner (Maddison Rushforth) has also left a similar review that we have responded to. There is a common misconception that companies fear negative reviews however, in practice this allows a company to respond in the public domain allowing readers to have the full information. You have raised a number of issues regarding your property with us and on each occasion, a contractor has attended the flat to resolve the issue very quickly as you have confirmed during our conversations. when you again called (although you were not living in the property) expressing your concerns, we immediately offered to attend the property that day to fully understand your concerns. You declined this offer and also the offer to attend the next day. We attended two days later (although you tried to cancel this) and were unable to find any evidence of your concerns. That said, we immediately requested the contractor to re-attend and check that all works had been completed correctly whilst also checking for any further issues. In terms of call backs, this is simply not the case, we have returned your calls and tried to engage with yourself and Maddison however you have remained unhappy as we are unable to release you from your tenancy agreement. This is due to you requesting to leave three months into your six month 'assured short hold tenancy' which you are legally obligated to fulfil. Your partner understood this position and explained that you wish to leave Grimsby to return home asap. We take our responsibilities as a company very seriously and are sad to see your comments here although we do fundamentally disagree with what you have stated.
