Never can get through to the hexham office on the phone & always get diverted to a hub service they use. Also leave messages for someone to call me back about a property that I seen on Rightmove that I was interested in and never received a call back from the agency. What a joke of a way to run an estate agent 👎 …

If you are autistic and/or suffer from poor mental health, I would strongly recommend you stay well clear of this company as they'll try pull the wool over your eyes. I sold my house through RHP and was told by their agents that the buyer was a cash buyer and had already sold their house (I have 2 emails confirming this). I also accepted a lower offer on my house as I thought there was no chain and it'd be a quick sale. To my surprise my solicitor informed me that I was part of a chain. RHP only told me about the chain 2 weeks before completion, when the people at the top of the chain started pushing for an exchange date. I never received any sort of explanation/apology from RHP for lying to me.

How to challenge DSS discrimination Find out what you can do if an agent refuses to rent to you just because you get benefits. No DSS policies are unlawful discrimination A 'no DSS' policy is when an agent refuses to rent to anyone who gets universal credit or housing benefit. This could include when agents: refuse to let you view an affordable property won't consider you for a tenancy because you get benefits advertise properties as 'no DSS' or 'working professionals only' The courts have ruled that no DSS policies are unlawful because they indirectly discriminate against women and disabled people. But you can complain to an agent or the Property Ombudsman about no DSS policies, regardless of your sex or disability. FYI

Hi Steve, i'm sorry you felt the need to write this. As you were told, it is a specific condition of the Landlords mortgage company that he is not allowed to accept LHA tenants It is NOT a policy of the company that we discriminate against LHA tenants Just to let you know, we are part of the Castledene Group, which is the largest independent letting agent managing LHA tenants in the North East of England - We do NOT discriminate against LHA tenants I will copy and paste this response to your wife who has also made the same complaint
