We always ensure that all potential buyers are financially checked before we proceed with any offers, as this is a key part of our process to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients. We were also informed that you planned to carry out some renovations on the property, which led to the decision to withdraw it from the market temporarily. However, we were surprised to later find out that you had decided to proceed with another estate agent instead, especially as we had not had a prior discussion indicating that you were considering leaving us. We had been under the impression that you would potentially return to market with us once the renovations were complete. As outlined in our terms and conditions, we do apply a withdrawal fee in these cases, as we had dedicated considerable time, resources, and effort to managing the sale of your property. We understand that situations can change, but we always aim to act in the best interest of our clients, and we were prepared to continue supporting you through the process, whether or not the property was to be renovated.
