I rented a house in Westgate through Miles & Barr for just over 6 months. The elaborate online process at the start of the tenancy took me by surprise and felt very onerous, but in fact it protected me as well as the landlord. I just wish I'd been warned to expect it! The house had been empty for a number of months and numerous defects showed up over time. Melissa Francis was terrific throughout, negotiating on my behalf with a not too helpful landlord, and making sure everything got fixed and also at the end managing the return of my deposit.
