Unnecessary fees, poor care & attention to properties & tenants

They have a lot of affordable housing but they're certainly not the best condition places. Not much care & attention was given to the property I lived in; I learned how to fix the boiler myself as it would break almost weekly. The gas was once shut off without warning and not fixed for days, I had to ring the agents as I was not notified. Luckily I could stay with my girlfriend nearby. I had to replace bathroom locks and most lightbulbs when I moved in. They seem to find lots of opportunities to charge you unnecessary fees - my contract contained a £50 'moving out fee' which, when I challenged it, I was told was not a cleaning fee, nor a deposit deduction for damage etc but merely a charge for moving out - how ridiculous!
