Tom Tom has been exceptional from the beginning to the end; from letting me view the property within 4 hours of contacting London Shared, to allowing me to make my decision without feeling pressured, to rapidly answering all my questions, to finding solutions to make moving in hassle free, to understanding my financial situation and offering advice - so I was able to break the payments up before into manageable instalments before I moved in. Overall I couldn't be more happier with the service he has provided. The house itself A spacious property equipped with an impressive kitchen and multiple modernised bathrooms. Very well kept with new furnishings and equipment. Weekly cleaner keeps everything spic-span. All electrics are in excellent condition. All in all, I'm very pleased with the house and couldn't have better housemates. Process Quick responses every time - no more than a 24 hour wait. Reference check was simple and didn't take too long and whilst there were reminders, they weren't too obstrusive or frequent enough to make me feel like I was being bombarded. Keys were collected within 20 minutes of move in day. Whilst I haven't had to use the maintenance process so far, when I was handed the key, I got the impression the process is as simple as boiling water with a kettle. From self-help video tutorials to a specialised platform that records details, notifies the property manager and sends a maintenance repair man pronto (even during out of office hours). I hope the kettle doesn't break now. London Shared I haven't had much interaction with London Shared, primarily because so far everything has been going so swimmingly. Initially I was apprehensive to go with an agency as typically agencies like to keep relationships transactional - in that everything is done for a profit - whilst I'm sure London Shared aims to be as profitable as possible, they don't sacrifice service. In fact it feels like that comes first. It's an organisation with a personality and strong culture of wanting tenants to feel right at home. One thing London Shared do that not many agencies do is organise socials - these are great ways to meet people and make new friends -which can be particularly helpful if you've just moved to the city. Overall I've been very impressed by Tom and the professionalism of London Shared as an organisation. Confirmation Whilst I was asked to write a review, every word is mine and derives from the experience I've had with London Shared so far - 3 weeks into tenancy. But as they say, you can only truly believe something if you've experienced it first-hand. Dicken

http://londonshared.co.ukWhen the history of London property gets written, we'd definitely like to be seen as the early visionaries of co-living, the first to really "get it right". Landlords We’re not an estate agency, but we are lettings experts. The basic model is simple enough: we lease a property from a landlord on a 3 to 5-year agreement, and then we rent out the rooms to working professionals. We do all the hard work so the landlord doesn't have to. Tenants For tenants, it's a new-and-improved "2.0" version of communal London living. For instance, all of our properties have flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi, and we send a cleaner every week. For professionals wanting to make their mark in London, it takes away a lot of hassle to not have to sit around the kitchen table figuring out who owes what for the heating.
