Wonderful Customer service, that seems so rare these days!

Having not bought property for a while- and starting our search in March last yr- it all felt quite overwhelming at first ! I think that i,personally,expected more contact and help from the Agents we had registered with out there. I first had the contact from Marco Moloudi at Martyn Gerrard in the June. He took details from me about how our search was progressing, listened to me about our experience so far as to what we had viewed. He generally listened and took notes and said that his contact with me would be regular via the phone. He had my husbands e-mail address so I just assumed that the majority of our communication would be through the e-mailers that are sent out, as our experience up until then had shown that this is how 'modern-day' estate agents worked . . . . . So, as our search stretched through into Summer/Autumn - I was actually amazed as Marco stayed true to that initial first conversation that we had shared and was now calling me nearly every week, if not every week- always with updates or just to enquire about what we had seen(what we liked and what we didn't like about those properties). He certainly seemed to tune in to the details I gave him, so that helped him do his job and fine-tune his search for us. His method was something that my husband and I were really getting to like. He made us feel without any pressure that we were important to him and that he was always looking out for properties that he thought we would like. In-fact when we eventually met him in the August- although the property he showed us was too big_it had all the things that I had explained to him that we were looking for. -And we could see that when we met him what a personable chap he really was. Again,we talked as we stepped out that property and,this time lent us some advice on the subject of the money side of things /stamp duty costs etc . He was always informative/full of information and always extremely positive which was always an added bonus as our search was beginning to seem relentless. . . . . One of my last conversations that I shared with Marco really showed that he did care. I told him that my husband had lost a buyer to a property he had been trying to sell for some time. I reiterated to Marco my husbands fears that he would have to start all over again with selling that property and probably have bigger costs because he would pursue the next attempt at selling it with 2 or 3 agents,(which wasn't an ideal sanario because of our aspiration to be able to afford a property in Mill Hill) . Again, Marco just listened to the details and without any pressure suggested that the next town along from where my husbands property was there was another branch of Martyn Gerrard and why not meet the manager of that branch for an informal chat about the prospect of them finding my husband a buyer. That appointment was arranged , and its from one of those last conversations that I had with Marco that my husband and I will be eternally grateful because as of this week gone by my husband has sold his property through Martyn Gerrard, and also had an excellent customer service from that other branch and its Sales team! We are so impressed with Martyn Gerrard as a whole that we would not hesitate to use them again either to sell property or to buy property. They have certainly stood out from all the other Estate agents. Amazing Customer Service, on all levels. Thankyou !
