Very happy with the service from Michael Anthony once the sale had been agreed. Especially Louisa Bailey who constantly kept me up to date and did a lot of chasing to get it to a conclusion.

As a letting agency I have found them to be questionable in there accountability and client support as well as arrogant and insulting. They do collect there fees promptly though.

Got to be the worst Agents for rental. I had to move into a house in Dec 2020 it had not been cleaned in fact it was disgusting, mouldy food in an old microwave the whole house filthy. There response was to blame the landlord. We are judge less on our faults more on how we put it right. In this case failed on both counts

Because I am self employed only 6 months I can’t rent a house from them I heave to wait 2yers

Hi Marian We are sorry to hear about your disappointment. The referencing company that we use set a criteria that applicants are required to meet in order to go through the process. The requirement for self-employed applicants is that they need to have two years worth of accounts to show that earnings are consistent and that they meet the required income to rent ratio. Unfortunately if you do not meet these requirements we are unable to get you through the process. You may find that other agents or referencing companies have a different criteria and would be able to help you find a suitable property to rent, and I can only apologise that we cannot.

Rude and condescending on the phone when questioning my annual income. Perhaps my youthful voice? To the response: I’m very aware of the process as I’ve been renting for many years now. I have no qualms about answering the necessary questions needed prior to arranging viewings, seeking other potential properties etc. It was the assumption in the woman’s voice that I couldn’t possibly earn £40k+ a year with her long pauses, giggling and her quite literally asking me “do you even earn anywhere near that?” This was after her asking me for my name, so I’m not sure how she came up with such a sudden assumption. I don’t fancy wasting my own time trying to arrange viewings for properties I can’t afford. I’m looking for a home, not a prank call. Many thanks.

Hi Nina, thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear that you felt you did not receive the level of service from us that we strive to deliver. We do have to pre-qualify all prospective tenants who show interest in our properties in order to ensure they will meet the referencing criteria. This does involve questions about your financial situation and earnings. We are sorry if this caused any offence as this was not our intention and we hope you understand the reasons behind our questions.
