We started renting with M&C last year and moving in was easy enough. Fees were extortionate but at the time it was the same for most letting companies. I really love the house we rent and I'm hoping for a friendly and helpful service throughout our tenancy here. I must admit after reading reviews regarding the wear and tear deposit I am a little worried, we look after the home but have two small, boisterous children who wouldn't think twice about scuffing a wall! We also have a cat which we had to pay a non refundable pet deposit for, I understand why tenants would need to pay this and I'm just pleased we found somewhere that would let us bring him with us. However, I can't judge how the deposit return process is until we one day leave and have our final inspection so my rating is not based on this. We've just had our first inspection, it was really quick and the lady asked us if we had any problems, I previously emailed a few issues over but she has assured us they've been forwarded to our Landlord. Feeling pretty neutral at the moment but I've not really had many reasons to be in contact with the office. I'm just glad to have a nice home to live in!
