One star is very generous! But why, you may ask? This estate/letting agents is one of the most difficult companies I think I have every dealt with! Not only, are they non responsive to emails, they also have the the charisma of a damp flannel when you eventually get through! I would even go as far as saying, a toddlers play room would probably have more organisation. The main elephant in the room has to be their attention to detail. When moving into our rental property, not only was it as dusty as a Henry Hoover, the toilet would not flush. Although these issues were dealt with (eventually) it’s still not fantastic customer service considering they had over a month to get the property ship shape. Another key point with Martin and Co Newark is if you have placed a deposit down with them, they will not only try and deducted, they also won’t respond for a good week if you have any questions/problems with them. But, to top things off, after receiving a phone call saying our property has a new tenant, so there will be no more viewings, the following week two people showed up to view the property as it was still for sale. As you are only as good as your last game, or in this case review! They will probably need to make up some more to shun this one down the pecking order to try and gain a better rating.
