Outstanding service from Dan and Kirstey and the team at Mansons who rented out our student property for us. We have a small portfolio and have been landlords for a number of years and have used a number of different agents over the years. Mansons are by far the best! Dan introduced us to Mansons and explained in detail about the services they offer to landlords. We decided to use their services to find tenants for our student property in Heaton. Kirstey met us at the property to carry out the property valuation and appraisal. During the appraisal, Kirstey gave advice on how to present the property at it's best, explaining what appeals to students. The property was put on the market and the presentation of the property was exceptional. The team at Mansons organised viewings very promptly, always showing respect to our tenants by giving them notice. (We have seen many agents in the past organise viewings without informing our tenants!) Dan informed us about every viewing and gave us any feedback received. Very quickly tenants were found for our property. Dan continued to keep us up to date throughout the whole process, from referencing, to the day the tenants moved in. He explained they use a very thorough vetting process which also ensures checks with previous landlords. ( We have been let down by other agents in the past with regards to their referencing checks) We've also received excellent feedback from our new tenants who have stated they found dealing with Mansons a joy! I am renting a property managed by Mansons for around 12 months now. When I first moved into my apartment in Jesmond, I was a little anxious due to various issues/conditions I had with the apartment and my previous experiences with some other agents. Understandably, after moving house I was a little stressed and could have done without worrying about various spots of maintenance with my new home etc. After my check-in I was not exactly expecting a quick turnaround, as I had already paid my final balance and signed my contracts. What surrpised me most, was after assessing my queries and issues I had, Mansons put into action what they could do straight after gaining confirmation from the landlord. The landlord did not agree to every query I had, which of course is understandable, but the ones agreed to were dealt with by Mansons in a professional and efficient manner. Contractors were distributed to the property and I was given more than enough notice for the resulting works to be done. I would normally be reluctant allowing a stranger into my new home after previous experiences, however Mansons and the contractors they use made me feel secure and I have no reservations about them gaining access with keys in my absence from now. Overall the manner and conduct in the service I received from lettings right through to property management, although I did not receive everything I wished, was a vast improvement.
