I am writing as the purchaser of the house mentioned in the previous review (from the seller) and would like to agree with the review given. Nev was great all the way through. The listing and viewings: - The public rightmove listing was brilliant, it gave much more information and was written in a way that showed genuine care for the sale. There were more photos than I generally saw and they really captured the beauty of the property. I initially had a couple of questions which were answered quickly but as I was unable to make the open day Nev contacted me separately to send across a 5 minute video walkthrough of the property along with an information pack. The information pack itself gave a great level of detail, from predicted boundaries, local information, additional photos etc. - We did two viewings at the house, the first with Nev and the second with the vendors. No question seemed an inconvenience and it was nice that I could meet the vendors and them me, so we knew who we were working with, buying and selling a house is a big thing to do and takes an awful lot of trust between the two. Offer: - I initially made an interim offer whilst I waited for an offer on my sale, Nev kindly let me know that until I had a buyer the house would stay on the market. Thankfully it sold quickly and the offer was accepted. I decided to offer asking price for the property, despite knowing a lower offer had been accepted in the previous months. For me, the house was valued correctly given the work the vendors had put in and the unique location. I didn't feel that any negotiation was needed (although I did ask if I could keep the curtains and blinds...). Nev acted as a go between through the process and always came back to me very quickly. Conveyancing: Throughout the conveyancing process Nev was always available and answered questions quickly. Toward week 8 I made the request that we pulled back the exchange and completion date so I could move during the school holidays, given my son was in the middle of his GCSE's. Nev helped coordinate this with the vendors and we had a very nervous but smooth simultaneous exchange and completion on the same day. Nev met me at the property on the day to hand over the keys. Overall it was a great experience as a buyer through Ewemove, and particularly with Nev, you can tell that he genuinely cares about your home. If you are considering selling or buying, you couldn't get any better. Thanks again for the great work!

I grew up in Wetherby, and as a teenager moved to Harrogate which is where Terri and I met. After uni, we got married and bought our first house in Harrogate. We now have two fantastic grown-up sons that we are very proud of and two gorgeous grand children but still feel a bit too young to be grandparents!
