My partner and I have been renting through Beresford Ward for 6 years. Unfortunately over the years we have found the quality of the service they have provided has decreased, and we would no longer recommend the agency. For the first couple of years repairs were timely. Unfortunately over the pandemic it took at least 6 months and lots of chasing to get an issue with the bathroom ceiling and fan fixed. They have now been taken over by Campions letting group and the quality of the service they provide has fallen further. Today I received an email that my rent was in arrears. This was the first I heard that my rent was increasing, which is very stressful. Despite me receiving no prior warning I have been told I have to pay for this increase retroactively. I'm now having to contact citizens advice because I am concerned the agency isn't acting within the law.
