"Excellent service with human..."

I decided to opt for Ellis having considered two other agents who gave me different valuations. What made my mind up was the positivity and optimism right from the outset from the Ellis reps, who immediately recognised the potential in the property and what buyers were looking to do. It wasnt so much flannel but actually seeing the potential, the location etc from my perspective. For me having that validation was incredibly important and reassuring. Throughout and what in the end turned out to be a protracted marketing of the property not helped by Brexit and Covid, I found the service provided by the Ellis team, Howard, Raj and Rakesh to be excellent, genuine and very supportive. Throughout they kept me fully updated on offers, and offered advice without ever being pushy regarding pricing strategy. They continued to review how the property was marketed, fresh pictures, a range of online channels and even suggested alternative sales options, such as the auction route. In the end we persisted...the final price though not reflecting my ideal did nonetheless reflect the challenges of the market, and cost of upgrading the house for any future buyer...so a realistic outcome. Finally, exchange of contracts and completion was handled seamlessly. The commission was well earned in the end....and I am very thankful to the Ellis team for their patience, perseverance and very human (not smarmy at all like some agents) friendly support throughout.
