Absolutely atrocious !! If there was an option of giving 0 stars I would happily have gone for that. Roque estate agents, pls stay well clear of them. We were unfortunate enough to deal someone called Priya, who is the most unprofessional & dishonest est agent we have ever met.

Hi everyone, Just to let you all know, I rent a property throughout to this estate agent and when left the property I never had my deposit back. Although i have been given one month notice. This estate agent is robber. Theose people used to work there they all let and the new people managing now are not the same as previous.

Minus stars if I could give them. Raj the owner is rogue estate agents do not use. Charges for market valuations after discussing there will be no charges with his colleagues. He does valuations that are very low compared to other estate agents and he also did a valuation for a property by looking inside a window? There are many other professional estate agents around.

We had a house rented from Ellis and co and they did everything possible to stop our deposit even if we gave back the property in a much better condition than when it was given to us .I wouldn't recommend this agency to tenants from East Europe unless they really want to lose their deposit or part of it and I wouldn't reckon the agent called Jo

Max Heath was extremely polite and in hindsight, we wish we had continued to use him. We insisted on using someone with more experience, as we had previously been let down by another local agent. Keith Comely was unprofessional and rude from the very start. He lost the keys to the property, which he then had the audacity to blame me for. I had driven over 70 miles to re-view it once under offer. He told me 5 mins before he was due to meet me at the property that my asbestos surveyor, who had surveyed the property a full week earlier, had not returned the keys .... he'd only just realised! He then went on the internet and accused me of using a dodgy company ... copy and pasting a bad review via email. He said he would report the lost keys to police as my surveyor was ignoring him (he did me too, but that's another story!) After I completed on the property, I called to ask if the lost keys had been reported and was told by Max that the locks had been changed. Keith hadn't even bothered to let me know. Keith knew how stressful the situation was, but made no attempt to make it less so. When the property is remarketed, Ellis & Co are the last agents I would use.

Completely disorganised office, clueless staff and unprofessional. The staff lack knowledge and they don't know what they are doing. Its a shambles and i would not recommend them.

The service I have received since she left has been appauling especially by David Benson who is incapable of resolving any of my issues. Paperwork has gone missing, lie after lie has been told. The staff he manages have not turned up for viewings and left potential tennants outside my property in the freezing cold. David Benson can not be trusted with sending out correct invoices - All Landlords out there be AWARE!. I should have been paying 5% commission as agreed in writing but he overcharged me by an extra 3%. When I tried to resolve this is was extremely unprofessional and ended up putting the phone down on me. David Benson is a grotty vile little liar can't be trusted at all. I will never ever use or recommend Ellis and Co in Stanmore to anybody. Natalie was the only honest and decent member of staff working there and good luck to her for leaving.
