I am currently renting a furnished room in a shared flat managed by Oyster Properties in northwest London. I moved in a month ago, and on the first day, I noticed that the bed support was broken. I immediately reported this issue to Oyster Properties, explaining that the damage was present before I moved in. Given that they conducted an inventory check prior to my arrival, they should have been aware of this problem. I have repeatedly requested that they fix or replace the bed in several written emails, but unfortunately, they have given me numerous excuses, such as claiming a colleague is handling the issue or that the bed support will be delivered soon. However, a month has passed, and I am still waiting for a resolution, with no further communication from them. I am concerned about the bed's safety due to the broken frame, which may not provide adequate support. I am also worried that when I move out, Oyster Properties might wrongly accuse me of causing the damage and deduct the repair costs from my deposit. I advise others to be cautious with this company.
