The experience for me felt absolutely horrible and I felt so disrespected by this estate agents that I do felt like I have to leave a review so maybe other people won’t go throw what I experienced with them. They booked me for a viewing on a property in Stanmore on Saturday for a flat that I really wanted to see and place an offer for .I asked them initially if we can conduct the initial viewing on videocall as I did placed offers in the past via video tours on propreties that I lived in for years and I was happy about it .On top of it I quite familiar with the area of Stanmore and how the proprety was looking from outside.They told me very clearly that a videocall viewing is not possible and I have to be there physically .To some extends I can understand that ,however,I do think that when you live in places like London where distances are so big and everyone is busy they should have an option that if the client is happy to place an offer and take the risk on a proprety via a virtual tour, they should allow their clients to do that ,most big estate agent companies do anyway . That’s not even close to the worst part of the story .I personally live in Kensington so it took me an hour and 20 minutes to get to Stanmore on a Saturday but because I was so keen on this place I did it anyway . I confirmed with them the viewing on Saturday morning ,we double agreed on the time and everything so I left home . When I was 5 minutes away from the property a woman calls me and she tells me she has to cancel my viewing because the tenant did not leave the key under the mat as agreed .I found it quite incredible that they did not check with the tenant that the key was there that morning or before they put me on the road or that they don’t have a spare key from the property for moments like when they conduct viewings .I explained to the lady on the phone that I am coming from far away and I am happy to wait in the area as long as it’s needed for them to contact the tenant and for me to finally see the flat . I got a call half an hour later that the tenants phone gets straight to voicemail and they are not able to show me the proprety .They FINALLY agreed to conduct a video tour as quickly as they will have access to the proprety because I told them I am not coming physically another almost 3 hours go and return after they just waisted my time that day . The agent on the phone apologised and she agreed to contact me as soon as possible when the tenant gets back to her and to let me know how the process is going . I heard nothing from them since that day .I chased them again both Monday and Tuesday and nobody replied to my phone calls or emails ever since ,so tehnically I got ghosted after they waisted 3 hours of my time on Saturday to cancel me 5 minutes before my viewing I do understand errors happen and we all do mistakes,however what I can’t stand is when people don’t keep to their word when they promise something and instead of make it up for their mistakes they just ghost you or don’t take responsibility over it . I was super disappointed by the whole experience and I definitely don’t recommend these agency to anyone who has other choices apart from them .I have proof for everything I said towards emailing and calling them and I can attach that in my comments if needed .
