We had been looking for properties in the Surbiton area for a few weeks before we had a chance meeting with ‘Your Move’ Surbiton. We enquired about a sold property with Your Move and agreed to be listed on the mailing list for appropriate properties. Needless to say we were contacted and saw a property which we decided wasn’t for us. Within a week we were contacted again about a property in our prime location that had just had its sale fall through, and the rest is history. Our agent was Marcus, a sincere and pleasant young man. We were able to ascertain very quickly that Marcus, unlike other estate agents we have used, was focussed on us as a client and had respect for our lives and situations - not just about getting the most money for a sale as we have felt using other estate agents. Marcus gave us some fantastic advice along the way and his communication during a frantic release from lockdown was so greatly appreciated. He was personable from the get go and never pressurized us. From our offer to exchange was 30 days, a swift service which now days seems nearly impossible. Needless to say we are now happily in our house. It is not often in life you find yourself having a chance meeting with a salesman/agent whom you feel that you are not only able to endorse, but are able to call memorable. In years to come when we tell our children stories of our first home, as we have been anecdoted by our own parents, I believe I will still remember Marcus and the help, support and all around great service he provided us in helping to ensure myself and my partner a future in our first home. All of the team at Your Move Surbiton have been of great help and only add to the the great customer experience we witnessed during the purchase of our house. Prompt communication has been a constant, which I am sure once you start the house hunt you will understand can be a great frustration while using some estate agents.
