No feedback to community issues. I am a neighbour of a property let by Dawsons. I have contacted them repeatedly regarding issues. All I have asked for is feedback regarding a boundary issue. Every time they assure me that they will get back to me but never do.

Please avoid letting from this agency. When we viewed our property we were promised new carpets as the ones already were grubby and stained. Alas we moved into a horror show of a flat - stained carpets, broken chairs, broken lightbulbs, broken shelves, stained mattresses, skid marks in the toilet, empty crisp packets in drawers, random false eyelashes, mouldy shower etc. We complained relentlessly when we moved in and the only thing that was responded to was that the chairs belonged to the previous tenants and not the landlord so - not their problem. Throughout our year living here we were almost overcharged 2 grand for our electric bill and were told we risked eviction within a week due to the landlord not paying bills. We were offered no support and extremely little information other than we may or may not be evicted extremely soon. Throughout the year we fixed chairs, lightbulbs and cleaned thoroughly upon moving and a large amount of our deposit was still withheld due to the stained carpets, mattresses and broken lightbulbs. Would not advise renting from this company. I left the house early and spent several days cleaning it. When I moved in the house was grubby and had damp damage. I cleaned the mould away, jet washed outside area, and left this house far cleaner than when I moved in. They still said house required moderate cleaning and withheld over £100 of my deposit. Didn’t have a good experience buying or selling with Dawson’s, wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Friends have had similar experiences, disappointing.

Don't rent with them.

By far the WORST estate agents ever known! Not one member of staff have any sort of customer service, avoid 53 PENTREMALWED ROAD at all costs! They don’t fix the problem they just paint over the damp. My daughters £1000 pram had to be thrown because damp issues weren’t solved. Along with numerous of other items. After we terminated our contract, handing the keys back on the 1st they think they can justify charging us 8 days until new tenants move in so the landlord can paint over the issues ????????? because that’s all will be done. 1.5 years we put up with it, you shouldn’t of received rent at all living in this, never mind trying to get money out of us when we’ve handed the keys back! INSPECTIONS every 3 months are a load of s***. Don’t know why you waste the time giving these people job titles as they just think they are doing you a favour (as they’ve stated numerous of times) “not like it’s there job or anything” AVOID AVOID AVOID

We have been reporting issues in our property for nealy 2 years now, at every 3 month inspection and several times in between. The main issue concerning us is a leaking conservatory, every single time it rains, it floods! Each time we are told 'a report has been logged', 'someone will be sent out soon', nothing has EVER been done and these issues have now escalate to the point where 1 room of our house is coated in black mould and the walls are falling off (photos attached). This is just one of the many problems we've reported and Dawsons has done NOTHING. Our 3 young children live in this house with us, it is unsafe for them and we will be reporting this to environmental health and our local councillor. Absolutely abismal, if this had be rectified when we first reported NEARLY 2 YEARS AGO, we wouldn't be in this situation. Stay well away from Dawsons.

Rented with them years ago always unhelpful and nothing ever get sorted but I should thank them as it pushed me to buy my own house, avoiding any being sold by them of course
