I have contacted Michael Anthony about a multiple occupancy property that they manage that they said they would deal with as a matter of urgency but am still waiting a response. The property has no emergency lighting - no fire detection - no electrical installation condition report for the landlord supply and no fire risk assessment. It is law that these need to be in place as they are aware but have done nothing about it. Please be very careful when renting from this firm as they may be putting yours or a family members life at risk! Update - After a fire officer attended the building and condemned it on several counts, work is now finally being carried out to make it safe and habitable. I also have had no correspondence with any of Michael Anthony’s legal team so just maybe they were in the wrong all along and maybe if this hadn’t been highlighted to the fire officer, the tenants would still be living in an unsafe building! I am now waiting on a full apology from Michael Anthony or I will be taking legal action against them. BEWARE!!

Thank you for your comments. May we ask in future that before making slanderous comments you ensure that your accusations are factually correct. The property in question is not a house of multiple occupancy, it is a building made up of four completely self contained flats. The four flats are under the management of Michael Anthony and you will find are completely compliant with current regulations. Following your very brief unannounced visit to our office, leaving no name or contact information for us to respond we immediately made contact with the freeholder to confirm all relevant compliance paperwork is in place for the communal areas, main building and structure. Should you still have concerns over the main building we suggest you raise these concerns with the freeholder. We will be passing the slanderous comments onto our legal team.
