Dear Matt. I am sorry to read your comments and I wanted, if I may, to pass on my personal apologies if you feel let down. I can appreciate your frustration about your dispute with the landlord over the return of your deposit but to be clear, the landlord has made this claim and not us as the agent. Do bear in mind as well that 80% of the deductions the landlord wanted to make from your deposit were for rent arrears as you didn't pay your last month's rent. Your dispute has been passed to the DPS for independent adjudication. The adjudicator will make a final judgement and decide what they think is fair or unfair - at least that way I hope you will be able to feel that we have offered every chance for you to put your case across and the final deductions from your deposit will be made by the DPS not by your landlord.
